I made this paper bag album for my dear sister Terry, out of love for her dog Katie that passed away this summer. I wanted my sister to have a special keepsake of her best friend so I decided to try my hand again at making a paper bag album. The paper I used was "The Pets Stack" by DCWV and some of the Max and Whiskers collection. I cut the tags with the Cricut "Preserves" cartridge and most everything else with "Paper Pups." The bow on the front cover was a piece of Katie's blanket. I used many of Robyn's techniques @ http://injoystampin.com/videos for this album. Robyn's tips are awesome and her videos are so helpful. Thanks Robyn!
I decided that I would video record the album but now realize I need a lot more practice! I need to learn to keep my hands out of the picture and figure out who is the person speaking in the video......Is that me???? Oh well, not too bad for my first attempt. I hope you enjoy the album.
Donna, your album is so beautiful! You did an amazing job on it. Thank you so very much for sharing it with me. You made my heart happy! :c) Hugs, Robyn
ReplyDeleteDonna, you made me cry. Your sister's best friend looks just like my Randy who passed several years ago. We have another dog, but no one will ever replace Randy. This album is just beautiful and what a beautiful, meaningful gift. Sometime could you send me an email explaining the tag has pictures at both the top and bottom when you pull the tab? I've not seen this as a tag pocket. Thank you and God bless. Sue (suescraftymess@gmail.com).
